Default brake system interchange

I have a 1968 Cadillac deville with front Drum Brakes. Will I be able to use

1969 Cadillac deville disc brakes to upgrade to discs ? Is it a direct bolt on ?

What are my other options ?

George

The GM interchange will require getting all of the change over parts, spindle to calipers rotors and all. Your springs, control arms and tie rods should all be the same. You can get some full size Buick, Olds Pontiac that fit, just be sure you get the HD big lug pattern hubs that matches your rear end and wheels.
In short, drum brake spindles usually only are preferred if you want after market brakes like Stainless Steel Brake kits, or Brembo, Baer etc.
