429 engine block coolant drain plug locations

Hello,

does someone knows the exact locations of the (2 or 3?) engine block coolant drain plugs. Maybe a picture?
I want to do a COMPLETE coolant flush for a 1966 Cadi.

Thanks a lot in advance.

That info will be in the service manual.

Some Buick engines do not have coolant drain plugs.

Every engine I've found drain plugs on, have been low on the side of the block. Pontiac used 1/8" pipe plugs, most everything else is 1/4" pipe thread.

Once the plug is out, you may have to poke a Philips screwdriver through the ac***ulated "crust" of deposits before any coolant will drain.

On engines I care about, I install brass drain cocks instead of the iron plugs.

Charming censorship. If I'm logged-in, there's only one word censored. If I'm not logged-in, there's two.
