Hi guy, im new here, i was woundering if some one could help me with some problems im having with my 1999 catera, my early transmission warning light appear when i drive for a long distance. I would like to know if some boby could give me some tip how to fix it.

amadelta.... have you checked the trans fluid???? that would be a good start. how many miles on the Catera?..... have you owned it sense new? have you had the trans fluid changed, and tuned?........... also WELCOME to the FORUM!!!! keep the FORUM posted..... i'm sure a Tech will respond also.........

 

Amadelta, have you found any solution to the transmission light? It also happens on my '99 Catera when i drive more than 20 miles. I've not had anything done to it yet. Please let me know if you have fixed the problem.

If there's anyone out there who can help me solve this problem, please let me know.

hy guy;my 98 catera speedalways jumps from 1 to 4 or5 speed and the transmission warning ligth appear. i have changed tcm and the transmission unit i mean the gear boss. still the same problem. now im about to change the ecm. please can you advice me? thanks
