I have a 1963 Cadillac. I'm not sure if the TV linkage is adjusted right. The transmission shifts through all 4 gears but it seems to shift too soon and lugs the motor. Does anyone have any information on adjsting this? I've checked the fluid level. The transmission has been replaced. It's the Hydramatic not the turbo 400. It has the shift pattern P N D D L R pattern.
