I recently bought a 2006 Cadillac DTS that was partway through a water pump replacement job. While getting ready to finish the replacement I noticed a pool of oil on top of the block that was underneath the intake manifold. Has anyone seen this before on a Northstar engine? What parts could be leaking that would cause this symptom?
