Hello,
I have an 84 Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance with the 4.1. The 4.1 needs to be rebuilt along with many other mechanics and I had a wild idea to fix the underpowered problems of the 4.1, put a northstar in it. Anyway anyone have ideas?

 

Those 4.1's need rebuilt every other tuesday. The northstar isn't too bad an engine, but unless you already have a northstar laying around an Olds V8 would be a much better (and simpler) choice, that's what everyone else did. (Including the factory in 86).
