Default Cadillac deville hid headlights

Whats up yall im new to this site but i really need some help im installing a hid kit in a 2001 cadillac deville and i know it has daytime running lights and im not sure if they are in the high or low beam but im installing the hids in the low beam and if there in there im going to have to disable the daytime running lights would i just pull out the drl relay to do that any help i would appreciate it thanks!

If you're just adding HID bulbs to the original reflectors for halogen, it's going perform poorly. HID only works correctly when installed behind a projector lens designed specifically for it. Just adding the bulbs/ballasts will turn your headlights into those crappy lights that blind everybody and will eventually cause aftermarket HID conversions to be outlawed.

Spend the money for a real conversion kit, that has quality projector lenses. (not the junk you see on fleabay)

be real careful installing this. I got a bad ballast and when I installed it my whole electrical system shut down. The car has been in the shop for about 2 weeks. still don`t know where the problem is won`t even run.
