Default Timing chains

just replaced the chains on my 2008 srx at 145k everything went nice and smooth no issues car started right up...
issue is that chains now rattle at every cold start just like first start when tensioners were dry....starts right up runs perfectly after no noises or engine codes just drove to east coast 2500 mile trip no issues just the startup noise

any ideas why its doing this
everything is new

Did you replace tensioners and shoes/guides? It is possible oil is bleeding back; are using GM oil filter? If answers are both yes it is possible that "O"ring for oil pump pick up is compressed and allowing air to enter oil system when engine is cold. Once engine heats up the seal expands and it seals. You will need to remove oil pan to correct.

Thanks for response and yes i did replace everything and do use GM oil filter...
the old chain and tensioners never rattled at all was just getting PO0008 code so i guess one of the tensioners is bleeding oil back after sitting so i guess ill have to take it all apart again
