i have an 05 sts with some condensation forming in the drivers side headlamp and wondering 1 how to get the condensation out and keep it from returning and 2 if i need a headlamp whats list price on a new one thanks
typically, headlights have a vent and a drain.
if one clogs up, you get condensation.
Also, typically the lens is bonded to the back shell and if the seam is compromsied, water comes in.
Of course, if it is cracked .. moisture.
Cure is to remove the headlight, inspect, correct.
now, if they got a built up of haze inside, easy fix. a couple shots of WHITE VODKA, tripple distilled, will remove any oils or haze from the inside surfaces, does not leave deposits OR residue.
do not rinse with water, deposits will likely remain.
cost to replace ... OUCH !
going rates for ANY headling assy, $300 to $800; used / new.
