Default 04 Deville 4.6 North Star

I noticed one of the cylinders was missing. I isolated it to number two ignition coil by swapping it out with cylinder 1 and it caused No. 1 to not fire. I put No 1 coil pack back in as well as No 2's just to double check it. No 2 quit firing. The second time I unplugged the wiring harness from the coil pack the plastic molding/ insulation between the male pins broke apart like it had totally disintegrated. Some how in the process I believe I accidentally shorted a couple of the pins or they just sparked across the gap ( though I assume there is probably not enough voltage on any of those wires to do that) because the car just shut off like you turned the key off. I had been plugging and unplugging the wire harness while it was running to verify the problem.

Guessing that I had shorted a couple wires, broke the rest of the molding off the wires so that they were all fully separated and then tried to start the car it just cranks without firing.

I checked the diagnostic codes and I don't see any thing significant.
So am looking for some help,

I thought I had the codes with me but I don't see them at the moment but I had checked them all up online and they all had to do with the abs, climate control, radio, door modules, etc. I didn't see any thing from the ecu. I hooked up a torque obdII scanner and it didn't come up with anything either.

I will post the codes tomorrow.
