'76 Cadillac Eldorado Recommended engine oil?

Hi, Just got this '76 Eldo last fall and had oil changed before winter storage with a partial synthetic high mileage oil. (car has 95,000 mi.) This Spring I have heard many different opinions as to what oil to use in it. Some say regular 10W-30 for the season. (May-October) Many different replies to same question. There is a slight blue smoke that dissipates quickly only on starting the second third time. No smoke while driving or idling. Valve job could be in my future.Any thoughts on this oil selection? Thanks

10w30 regular oil with the API sunburst. If it's not using oil I would worry about it. Valve seals can be replaced without pulling heads.
