Why have you replaced starter, solenoid, & regulator? What is the condition of battery cables?

Brother-in-law said same thing. check out battery cables, jump start to see if it catches. Battery appears to be full of juice. Exactly how do you check battery cables condition except for cleaning? Shall I just replace?

I will do the jump start to see what happens

You can test them with voltmeter. Also visually by lookiing for corrosion on terminals and where they attach engine block or starter. Cadillac also used a braided ground strap from engine to frame. If cable insulation is split and copper cable can corrode turning green or "rust red" color. If you have the "bolt on" terminal repair kit you need a cable. When replacing cables get the correct gage and length.

Neutral safety switch was reason no start 68 caddy.
At least I ended up with a replaces starter and voltage regulator also.
I am happy again
