gear select problem
 
:(let me introduce myself my name is ron my 1990 cad seville computer shows gear select problem only shows in par or neutral have no problem in any other gear i powerwash my car 4 days ago i dont know if that cause the problem Thank you ron

I assume you have the digital dash, and all of the indicators are not working, correct?
If you powerwashed under the hood, you most likely got water into the Neutral Safety Switch, and that is causing the blackout of the indicators. If it doesn't start working corecctly in a few days, after drying out, you may need to replace the switch.The NSS is located on the top side of the trans, just under the shifter cable.
