Tires for 81 Fleetwood

I have an 81 Fleetwood Brougham Coupe with 225 75 15 Vogue tires, but need new ones. I was told that these tires are no longer made, I have found some 235 70 15's for sale at a local tire shope and was wondering if these will fit right or even look as good as the originals..Anyone have any suggestions?

Tires

You probably won't have a problem in the rear but the front has very little room on hard turns and my guess would be the larger tires would hit the frame or suspension parts.

The Vogue website isn't even advertising a tire less than 17" so good luck in your search! If you could find a 225/70R15 then it would fit width wise but would be about 1/2" smaller around so the wheel well gap would be a bit larger. Personally on all the 15's & 16" on my big body cars, I run 225/60R15 or 16. That gives about an inch more fender gap but they handle much better. I don't want that tucked in look. I want about 2" of fender gap. I have done the tucked in thing with 2 cars and one mini-truck and while it looks good, it makes actually driving the thing annoying cause they rub when you turn or hit even the smallest bump.

Actually i ordered a set of tires for an old truck and they seemed to fit perfectly fine.

I think, its better you check some online stores for this. You might get these tires.

Tire Rack has plenty of 225-75R15 tires.

Actually the main issue is that, these cars are not made now by the companies because of the old generation so their part and wheels also not avail.I am interested in Vintage cars so i like the wheels which are very rare in the area.
