I just bought a 02 eldorado Collectors series last week. I want to buy a tube of GM touch up. I also bought a original 2002 Eldorado Factory sales brochure with paint chips and the description in the brochure says it came in TWO colors...The white and "aztec Red". I see on all the paint sites they are only showing it in Torch Red which makes sense to me because I have a 2004 Corvette in Torch red sitting rite next to in in the garage and they look identical??? The only thing the build info sticker on the spare tire cover is...BC/CC 195
Where can I find out what the actual paint code is??? Thanks for the help!

 

The SIPD label has paint color the BC/CC is the code also there will be a U code. It is possible to have the same color called 2 different names. There were only 500 Aztec Red Eldos built so there would be a very limited supply of replacement parts. At one time a VIN was required to get parts for the Red SEs. It's also possible SPO decided torch red was close enough. Body shops actually mix paint for repairs so you could go by a GM dealer or better body shop and have them mix up some for you.

 

I got car # 905. Absolutely love it...and the red accents on the seats are pretty cool also.

 

first 500 white second 500 red last 500 white. there may be an extra 5 in each run of 500.
