Lower gas prices

I've been getting a lot of forwarded "E" mail and now reading on several websites what when you think about it, might just be a darn good idea.
Pass, on all the "big guys" gas stations. Avoid using Mobil, Exxon, Shell, Standard ect and stick with the locals. If this gets enough play the "big guys" have the best profit margins to be able to make drastic price reductions in the realm of competition to lower their gas prices. A couple actuaries say we could see $2.00 gas within a month.
I'm going to do my part and switch to a local Hess. Seems to make a lot of sense if we just get the word passed around some. Shouldn't be any inconvenience at all.
And as they say, "it couldn't hurt."
And I hope no one quotes the snopes article dated in Feb of 2006 and before Mobil/Exxon posted their Billions in profit for the year 06!
