cocaine for sale ?
State Rep. Mike Shelton from Oklahoma City wants to ban Cocaine, the energy drink. That's right, there's an energy drink that's named and spelled just like the drug. Shelton saw a couple of teenagers buying it and thinks it sends the wrong message to kids.
But some adults, like Cory Rula, who's a fan of the drink, say it's much ado about nothing. He says, "It is the best energy drink on the market. I have not found anything better. I think that there is other problems to be worrying about more than energy drink." Legislators like Shelton might be playing right into the company's hands. A spokesman says they thrive on the negative publicity. They say it helped when they launched the product three years ago. http://krmg.com/images/2009/02/cocaine_m.jpg Cocaine contains 280mg of caffeine in each 250ml can. A cup of coffee contains 40mg of caffeine. . . |
I also believe it sends the wrong message.
But dont ban the drink. Just change the name. Is kinda like naming a wood chipper, "Boddisposer". Or calling sleeping pills "RapeEase". Just change the name. |
