Ah the good old days!

I could have read something at 3:00 am like Bush's tax proposal cutting social programs, asking for Kazillions more for the "confrontation" in Iraq while saying "no new taxes".

I probably would have said something like " Bush makes Woodrow Wilson and Herbert Hoover look like geniuses."

Zal woulda immediately attacked me ( but not personal ) for abusing a current president.

odell, coulda, woulda, shoulda say someting along Liberal democratic lines.

G.A.R.Y. woulda told Odell what a stupid s**t he was .

Jeff woulda tole G.A.R.Y. what a stupid a*****e he is.

Kurtz'd add me to the list of folks he was goina cut off their arms ( but not legs- that comes later)

JCS would add dignified philosophical stability and reasoning to the thread.

hyperion would tell his ole friend Jim in some humor filled way that he was off base.

Jim from Auburn would add his $.02.

Rickko would add the West Coast flavor just as soon as he woke up.

Fastcar Eddie woulda tole us what a hero GWB is after waxing the last Caddie and playing the last Keno ticket before he went to sleep.

Barack's the answer, Rudy's the savior but who cares?

Now I get Mary Tyler Moore re-runs at 4:00 and still wonder how to search for "what's the best glue to hold a a broken Windshield together". Bob or Dick would tell but they've been limited to responding in the "problems" section.

Jefft go wake up Milton Friedman, he'll debate economic policy with ya.....just remember no new taxes!

From a previous administration...

The President got off the helicopter in front of the White House with a
baby pig under each arm. The Marine guard snapped to attention, saluted,
and said: "Nice pigs, sir."

The President replied: "These are not pigs, these are authentic Arkansas
Razorback Hogs. I got one for Hillary, and I got one for Chelsea. "

The Marine again snapped to attention, saluted, and replied,
"Nice trade, sir."

under your rules of engagement taking shots at Hillary is ok until she is the sitting POTUS at which time we will give her the respect of her office. What happens to Billyboob when he is the first hubby?

Bill with Coates,

yes, those are my rules of engagement but to tell you,
i'm not worried in the least about her sitting as POTUS.

and

should i be wrong ( NAWWW ), in no way have i ever extended
or eluded to extend that rule to the mates of the sitting-in-POTUS.

wait till i start on the rest of them POTUS hopefulls.
there are soooo many, i'm waiting for the parties to cleanup
and see whats left to examine what they do and say - both parties.

as to Billy (no name calling please) .. i think she should get custom pants made,
w/o a zipper, regarless of POTUS status. is that a pot-shot?
nope, it is IMO.

odd, switch the "O" and the "U" in POTUS and what do you get?

Hillary Clinton Fakes Southern Accent:
Mocks South at Church Rally [hr] By Jackson Simpson
Mar 5, 2007

New York Senator Hillary Clinton felt so insecure about her trip to the American south this weekend that she dusted off hubby Bill Clinton and dragged the former president along for some very important support. While it seems fairly obvious that any Hillary strategy in a2008 general election will write off the south, she seems quite concerned about Barack Obama and his recent surge.
Even though it is seriously early, Clinton's numbers with Democrat voters are falling andObama is closing the gap. Newsbusters reports that Andrea Mitchell, while narrating the segment on the political duel between Obama and Hillary in Selma, Alabama this weekend portrayed Obama as having authentic appeal, while picturing Hillary resorting to heavy-handed political tactics.

But that heavy hand turned to flat out mocking with part of her speech that has been placed online. Clinton, once a resident of the Governor's mansion in Arkansas, tried to fake a southern accent and it came across as a cheap and nasty ploy. There is but a clip online, and one can expect her lampooning the south will be skipped by any of the networks, but she is apparently quoting from the old Gospel Hymm 'I Don't Feel Noways Tired.'

Except Hillary mocks it up with the fake drawl that came across like this:
“Aww don’t feel noways tired. I’ve come too faarrr from where I started frum…Aww culd have listened all day luung."

Hate to agree but I am beginning to think that Hillary has to much baggage (Bubba not withstanding). Sure don't see many candidates that excite me but what the heck only March of 2007!

Who'd ya think Scooter's taking the fall for?
