Default map sensor

on my 84 fleetwood brougham in side the glove box are two map sensor, on the top of the bracket

there is is one sensor with electric connection and a va*** nipple( no va*** hose attached ) the boro sensor is mounted

under neath the map and has the same connection as the map except that on the boro it has a

va*** hose connected from the throttle body..my question on the map sensor what goes on the maps nipple ?? if any thing

The BARO sensor has no vacuum line connected to it, and the MAP sensor does. The BARO is simply measuring atmospheric air pressure. Newer cars eliminated the BARO, and just used a sampling of the MAP upon startup.

BARO= Barometric pressure
MAP= Manifold Absolute Pressure

thank a lot could never figure out one had a hose
and the other didnt
