Default Can this be done.

I have a 2001 Seville sls and a 2001 Seville sts parts car I read that the sts has 25 hp more than the sls and a Bose radio since both cars have the same motor the extra hp could be in the electronics
my question is can I swap electronics to get the extra hp and use the Bose radio There would be other issues like ignition and security but curious
Also I have what sounds like an electrical motor stuck on each time the car is started it’s coming from the dash on the drivers side a whack on the dash turns it off wondering what would be there

It would be much easier to just get the car tuned to get the extra power than to swap every thing since the difference is probably only in the computer programming. If you switch the computer you will have to reprogram it for that car anyhow so just save yourself the time and trouble in doing something that might not work. The programming will work. The noise is probably a blend or mode door in your ac system.

I would leave it alone, "opening up a can of worms" probably.
