97 Cadillac RIM

I have been reading posts about cadillac abs and traction control lights on dash readout. Some of them refer to RIM. What is a RIM?

RIM - Rear Intergration Module - part of 3 modules which make up the BCM of old. Mainly controls lighting, fuel gauge, and other body functions related to back half of car. Not related to ABS other than thru data circuits. ABS/TCS has its own module, See FAQ and post code(s).
