1994 Fleetwood trunk lid condensation

I have heavy condensation on the inside of my trunk lid. At times it is so heavy it gets everything wet. I thought it was a leak getting my mats wet, but then one day I opened it and the underside of the lid was dripping water.

There is not a lot you can do about condensation. Make sure the breathers in the rear door openings aren't blocked. Be sure trunk floor is dry.

Slowroll response

Slowroll,

Thank you for your help. Will check the door breathers. Have dried trunk mats several times and left trunk open on sunny days, but every time we have significant changes of temperature quickly I get the condensation again. I do live in an area with high humidity (am waterfront on a creek in eastern NC)

I was in tidewater Va for a long time. You could try a cover garage would be better, but living on the water it's always damp.

Thank you slowroll. I checked the door vents and they are open. Love the car except for the wet trunk.
