Balancer Bolt 96 Seville
 

Do I need too Change Balancer-bolt when pulling balancer off and replacing Balancer? I know the spec for tightening 37ftp and 120 deg. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You shouldn't. Oil pump is not keyed to crank it is driven by the clamping force of balancer bolt.

Ok so replace bolt from GM dealer. Thanks greatly appreciated

Ok got the bolt, put it in, but what a tough pull to get 120 degrees on the crank. no leaks, so got the job done! Thank for all the help guys, (from 96 Deville Harmonic Balancer replacement) works for Seville too. Thanks
