Wire harness/fried wiring

Okay i had a machanic put a new motor in my 95 sts but the mechanic did a crappy job he returned it with more issues than it had it ran slowly and the light to service ignition was on when i took it to another shop they first changed all sensors this was not the issue then they hired a electrician and i was told that i needed a new wire harness set to fix the issue...due to the computer being fried and bad wirings the bad mechanic put wires together that didn't belong. can someone suggest what i should do from here and how much is a resonable price to get this issue fixed and any other information that they can share to ease the pain thanks in advance.

I would take it back to the so called mechanic who did the work.

That's what I would do too. Don't let him off the hook that easy.As hard as it is to do it really is his expense to fix it........period.

Don't forget to report him to every agency possible to make sure his reputation suffers as much as you have. Good luck with that anyway..
