IS THIS A VATS PROBLEM

OKAY, IM SURE YALL HAVE HEARD THIS PROBLEM MANY TIMES, BUT HERE IT GOES AGAIN. I HAVE A 1999 CADILLAC DEVILLE. IVE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS AND JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO I WENT TO START MY CAR AND IT TURNED OVER, BUT DIDNT START. IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WASNT ANY GAS BUT I KNOW THERE WAS SOME IN THERE. THEN I SEEN A MESSAGE THAT SAID FUEL DISABLED. I CHECKED THE CODES AND IT PULLED UP, P0603, P1631, P1632, AND A FEW MOR. I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT THESE CODES MENT. SO THEN I HEARD IT COULD BE MY VATS SYSTEM, BUT I DONT KNOW, COULD ANYONE HELP. IS THERE A QUICK FIX TO THIS PROBLEM???

RE: IS THIS A VATS PROBLEM

No not VATS related. VATS will cause a click to be heard and the engine wont crank over at all. You need to go to the basics. Do you have fuel pressure, verified with a fuel pressure gauge? Do you have spark? Then report back. Do a search on this forum about meanings of your codes.

The B2750 and P1631 relate to VATS. It is very possible ignition key cylinder need replaced; small wires tend to break where they attach to cylinder. You could use an ohm meter and measure resistance of key and at the 2 small white wires at steering column connector. Connector disconnected and key in run and start positions ohm meter reading should be the same and not flicker as key is rotated.
