2004 XLR. Went to put the top down and it stopped right after the top nested flat into the trunk. The “top not secure” message popped up on the dash. The trunk lid will not go down and the hard flap behind the headrests will not go down. I know nothing about this mechanism or how to troubleshoot it. It is my dads car and he is not too happy, lol. Obviously cant take to a shop or dealer with the trunk lid wide open. Can anyone help? Or suggest a mobile mechanic that can fix it?
