Should I set it on fire and roll it down a hill?????
 

Hello everyone I have a issue with my 2000 escalade 5.7L V8. The power steering pump went out so I just put a new one in and my father was helping and he opened the door and the alarm went off and now my Cadillac won't start.the security light goes off but its not getting fire. Well it's not acting like it....it's not getting spark to the plugs.but it is getting spark to the distributor. But not out of the dis.
So I replaced crank pos. Sensor to no avail.
I only have one key and no key fob. How do I reset the security? I just saw on another post here turn the key on till all the dash lights turn on and let it set for 10 min then turn the key and. Then try to start it so I'm gonna go do that real quick. Ill post results.
