Seville STS brake lines

The brake lines on my 94 sts are extremely rusty and one even ruptured while i was driving. After 215,000 miles everything is starting to break down. But i really want to keep the car so i want to replace them, but I have no experience in changing out brake lines so i was looking for a little input. What is the procedure for changing out the lines?, any tips or tricks? Also some advice about where to buy the parts would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Seville STS brake lines

there are no direct fit brake lines for your car that i know of.

A bulk roll of steel tubing and every fitting it attaches to is how we fix them.

A GM parts department should list all the fittings and connectors needed as well as the size of the tubing.

It usually takes most of the day to remove, bend, flair and install all new lines.

Some sort of penatrating oil will help loosen rusted connections.

Please make sure you allow plenty of time to do this job right, as brakes are the #1 most important system on your car.

I'd rather overhaul a tranny
