Replacing Fuel Injectors

I have a '91 Seville and am in the process of replacing the injectors. I am at my witts end. What should (in my opinion) be an easy job has become a nightmare.

I removed the injector rails and reinstalled and I just cannot get the front rail injector to stop leaking - the one on the far left underneath the power steering reservor. I have changed injectors, tried new O-rings, tried different angles, etc.

I have become suspicious that the rail might have a pin-hole leak in it, but I even removed it, left the injectors on and filled it with water and blew through the lines. No leak showed up. The problem seems to be at the top rather than at the engine side.

I even reinstalled the original injector (which had been replaced a couple of years ago) and it leaks as well.

I'm at the point of trying to find and replace the front rail.

Have any of you ever experienced this problem? Ideas?

Thanks,

I solved the problem last night. In removing or replacing the front rail, the "cup" that the injector sits in must have moved and developed a hairline crack. Put in a new rail and it runs perfectly.
