need ideas on 85 eldorado 4100 engine mods
 
hello im new to forum but i have searched and searched but i cant find any horsepower mods for my 1985 cadillac eldorado can some one pls help.its the ht4100 only has 38,000 miles on it but runs very sluggish.

The easiest and cheapest way to go is to find a 1987 / 1988 Allante 4100 engine ...
GM has already done what you want to do ...

are you saying take pieces off the engine are go for the whole engine

take the whole engine. the 4100 Allante engines are "specials", same block, but with high performance pistons, cams, etc., etc...

just look at the specs & torque for one of those 170 hp 4100's and compare with the specs of the 120 hp 4100 you got.

An Allante 4100 is not like an ElDo 4100 ...
