Misc 04 Deville Dts issues-all related or not?

I purchased a used 2004 Cadillac Deville Dts about a month ago from someone that hadn't drove the car in months. Within a week after purchase, the car developed a very bad idle. When the engine light finally kicked on, the code came up for plugs. I ended up having to replace the coils as well as the plugs, too. Yesterday, after running a few hours in 100 degree Missouri weather, I came home and then went back out. During this time, the rear drivers side window fell down. When I turned back around and pulled into the driveway, the entire car shut off like the battery went dead. It started back up but when it did, the factory touchscreen navigation kept coming on and then shutting off. The battery checked ok as well as the alternator, but I now have a messed up window and an inoperable navigation system. Does anyone have any idea what this could be and is all of this related or just a coincidence that these problems coincided together?

I had the same problem with my car turning off. It was the crankshaft position sensors. I had the same window problem. Remove thw window regulator from the door. There is a cable that runs its path to control the window. The window motor has a center position for the ball in the cable to roll the window up and down. Put ball back in place and double wrap a wire to hold in place and window should roll up. I did this to mine and works fine. It is more than likely the top piece that broke due to ur statement that the window falls down. Let me know how it goes.
