Have a 98 STS. Sunroof is open. I removed the control panel from the ceiling and found the ribbon cable broken to both sunroof switches (vent and slide). I disconnected the ribbon cable connector to see the 18 pin connector and found a wiring diagram, but not sure what to jumper to trigger the thing to the close position. I know the motor is ok cause it was working fine before, so just a matter of simulating the switch being moved to the close position. In the schematic I have the orange wire is the one that needs to be "triggered" to close the roof, but dont know if I need to ground out that wire, apply positive power, or what. Anyone have any ideas?
