Exhaust to Cooling system Leak STS 4.6
I have determined that my engine has a leak between the exhaust and the cooling system. It is an older car (1997) so I don't want to put too much money or work into it but would like to keep it going for a little longer. I have been thinking about fixing the problem by replacing the gasket and bolts on the side that is leaking and hopefully do it without removing the engine. I have two questions: 1) is this approach reasonable? 2) is there a way of determining which cylinder bank the problem is in?
