DIC started reading Fuel Used Wrong - Please Help

I have a 2001 Cadillac DeVille Base. The fuel gauge works fine, but recently my DIC has started to under report the fuel being consumed. Being that I drive 2,000+ miles a week in this vehicle, I do like to monitor my fuel consumption.

I am having a real hard time trying to figure out which sensor or module could be miscalculating fuel.

I have looked at diagrams, pin connections and module functions but can't seem to figure it out. My mechanic (I generally do ALL work myself) said that it could be the RIM going bad. They send it is not the fuel pump.

When I look at the connector on the RIM, I don't see a connection to that function in the DIC.

Could someone please help....it's driving me nuts!!!
