Code P0741 on transmission
 

Car is 2008 SRX, V-6, AWD. Got a code P-0741, torque converter clutch solenoid stuck off. Trans did not want to shift when cold. It helped to put it into sport mode and select M5 and then it would shift and it was better after it all warmed up. In the meantime, a cooler line let go in the vicinity of the radiator and I lost some fluid. Now at does not go into reverse. I inherited this from my sister, it has 158,000 plus miles on it. Not sure if the fluid an filter was changed at 100,000 miles as recommended. My next step is the change the fluid and filter. Is that clutch solenoid accessible with the pan off?

Does anyone know how to fill the fluid? I can put the car on jack stands but no lift. I see there is a removal fitting just above the pan, is that where the fluid is put in?

This is a good video to watch on how to fill the fluid, . The transmission is a 5L40E GM trans, I only know this because I had similar issues but turned out to be something much worse, and ended up ordering a rebuilt transmission from these guys, https://reman-transmission.com/trans...es/?code=5L40E.
