Cadillac Escalade Door Handles Not Spring Back
 

Hi all. Looking for a little advice. Both the driver and passenger front door handles on our 2004 Escalade are sticking open when you pull open the door handle and do not spring back to the door. If you don't manually push the handle back towards the door before you get in this results in not being able to open the door from the inside. You have to roll down the window, reach out and push the door handle in and then the door will open.

I have tried lubricating the door handle with no visible improvement. I have not taken the door panel off yet to see if there is something I can Wdo from in there. Before I do, I was wondering if anyone lese has encountered this and figured it out.
