A/C compressor siezed, destroyed serpentine belt, overheated engine
Yesterday a 16,175 miles my 4 cyl ATS coupe A/C compressor seized, in the process it destroyed the serpentine belt and then the engine overheated.
How many other components with the dealer have to replace? I am thinking just the compressor if it did not send debris throughout the system. Ed |
It depends on what failed. Pulley locked up compressor and belt. Internal failure compressor, condenser hose, belt, possibly suction screen. Overheating maybe larger concern.
