A/C Compressor Clutch

Hello,
I'm new to the forum. Greetings to all. My Air Conditioner Compressor Clutch just went out on my 99
Cadillac Deville. It has the sideways V-8 in it. Front Wheel Drive of course.
My question is, how much trouble is it to change out the A/C Compressor Clutch? It looks like its very hard to get to. Do you have to raise or lower the engine to get to it, etc, etc?

Thanks for help in advance,
T.J.

RE: A/C Compressor Clutch

If you replaced a compressor clutch before it's not that bad. You will have to lower front of sub frame to do it. Also you will the correct tools to do it. A6 / R4tools wont work
