A/C blower motor

Can anyone tell me how to replace my A/C blower motor? I just took my 98 cadillac deville to the dealer and they wanted a crazy $950 dollers to fix it and I think you can get the blower from kragen auto parts for $249. And the dealer told me that you have to move the engine forward on one side to get the blower out so is that tru? any input on this would be great, thank you.

Engine is in the way, if just trying to unbolt it and remove. On some models there is a panel in blower case that can be removed allowing blower to be replaced without moving engine. If panel is present, heater case insulator will have grooves indicating where it needs to be cut. Moving engine to replace blower however it's not really a driveway type repair. It will require loosing or removing sub-frame bolts to "roll" engine away from blower. Not a recommended repair procedure for those without experience or proper equipment.

check on YouTube and there is a guy who shows a video how to take the blower out without moving the engine. I followed the guys instructions and took it out and installed a new one. I saved about 700 bucks!
