Best Spark plugs for a 99 STS?
 

Hello,

I need to change the plugs and wires on my 1999 Cadillac Seville, what brand of plugs/wires are the best. I am willing to spend the extra $$$$, but have no clue what brands to buy! Any help would be great!

I'm assuming you have a 4.6L Northstar

the 99 seville uses AC Delco sparkplug #41-929 tighten each plug to 11 ft pounds

I'm not sure about the wires but you can test them with an ohm meter to see if they need replacing. if any of the wires exceed 15,000 ohms replace them.

i'm willing to buy & save on many parts on the after market but spark plugs is not one of them .. experience tells me to stick with the OEM AC Delco on these Cadillacs unless you are building a racing machine.

primary wires i am a little more flexible with but be aware that there is a lot of cheap junk out there.

whatever your choice, clean around the plugs BEFORE YOU PULL THEM, dont forget to coat the ends with di-electric grease and the plug threads with whatever the anti-seize compound is recommended for your engine.
