92 Seville 4.9 Problems

96K been sitting for 3 years
use to run, but overheated; replaced water pump & thermostat
Now I can hear the fuel pump work, but will only run when gas is poured in the Throttle body.

Instrument Panel haywire: turn on switch; says stop engine, overheating, trunk open, very low fuel; defog & other switches will not turn off.
Took out panel & blew out with air

Could this be the computer?

Update

Have connected & disconnected the battery several times to reset computer. Still will not start (only when I pour some gas in TB): Turn on stwitch; Security alarm buzzes, Instrument Panel goes haywire; Stop Engine, Overheated, fuel low, trunk open. My logic told me that the ECM was bad, but it probably would not start at all if that were the case. Replaced the ECM from a recycled yard: No change!!!

Unplugged the ECM & the Instrument Panel: Security Alarm still ringing; is there an instrument control module. I have a manual, but does not cover any of this. I think that some defective module is sending these trouble codes.

Any ideas, sure need to get this one running.

Thanks

Problems

Did you change out the fuel filter? Fuel injection?? maybe injectors stuck. Did you blow out the lines and replace all bad fuel in tank??

going to do that, but trying to figure out why all these errors are showing up on the panel.

It ran good before, but still threw out all these codes (below).

Why does the security alarm go off while ECM & the IPanel are unplugged & when the IPanel is plugged up, I get: Stop Engine, overheated, trunk open, very low fuel?

There's some glitch in a sensor or sensors that causing all these codes. I'd like to figure out this problem before going into the fuel filter.

More Info: Update

Did some research: found out how to retrieve codes.

1. Turn on switch
2. Hold down fan "OFF" & "RED" warmer button simultaneously.
3. Codes will appear on the IPC panel below speedo & tach.

Got so many that I will have to jot them down & LYK what I got.
