89 ELDO Digital Cluster
 

Thanks for allowing me to post. I have been asked to look into this problem since I have an electronics background. The cluster is completely dark. The owner states he had it removed and tested and all was OK. I have check all the voltages and grounds as per the shop manual. The dimming voltage from the Interior control varies with the control position. The Driver information bulbs seem very bright if that means anything. I have not been able to verify the 'Illumination Power' on pins LB8 and 9 of the cluster connector. Does anyone know of a service where I can verify the cluster is good. I am located in NE PA if that matters. My gut feel is the cluster is not getting an enable signal to turn on the display but I can't find that signal. Any help would be great.
