Hi all,

Purchased a 2013 CTS Coupe in October. In the last couple of days, after driving 5 or 10 minutes (with the heater on), I start to smell a strong odor of burning/melting plastic. I was thinking it was possibly from the heater and being pushed in to the car. But when I stop and get out, the smell is very strong outside the car also. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Thanks.

Hi Ashley, Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was just getting ready to post on this. Took it in to my dealer yesterday and luckily, turned out not be be anything serious, but more of a stupidly simple issue....a heavy duty plastic bag wrapped around the exhaust pipe. They removed it and scraped off as much as they could. Now I just have wait for it to burn off. Crazy.
