2008 STS-4 Front Door Locks
 

I hope this is the correct forum for this question. If not, I apologize. This is my first post in this site. Probably not my last. I own five Cadillacs of various years.

I have noticed that any time power is lost in this car the front doors automatically lock. This is my wife's car and if something were to happen where she had to get out of the car immediately and the power was lost during this event, she would be trapped. In a fire situation it would be deadly.
I have looked all throughout the owners manual and can find no reference to an emergency door lock release.
I even went to the dealership and asked and they couldn't help. I don't yet have a FSM for this car, intend to get one, but really want to know if there is a hidden release that I haven't found during long searches for one. If there is no way to unlock the doors when power is lost, this is a very dangerous situation.
I would appreciate any information on this that someone who knows can provide.
