2000 Eldorado ETC Radio
Hello everyone! I just signed up, and I have a question. I just bought an Eldorado ETC convertible. It's very nice, but the the Bose radio buttons are very sticky, and the finish has worn off of most of the buttons. I was able to find an unlocked OEM Bose radio in beautiful condition. However, my ETC has the wood trim console. I asked the person I bought the radio from if the gray faceplate could be removed and replaced with the wood faceplate, and he seemed to think it could. I received the radio, and it looked like the faceplate was just clipped on. However, when I started trying to remove it, the faceplate AND THE BUTTONS all seem to be connected as a unit. Does anyone know if there is a way to separate the faceplate from the buttons?
