2000 El Dorado Air Conditioning
 

We are working on a 2000 Cadiallac El Dorado. The ac doesn't come on by itself. We can hook up our modis to it to command the ac to turn on and it will. Have not been able to find any reason for it not to turn on. Anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks for trying. We aren't having an issue with the blower motor. Everything on the ac is working only when we hook our modis up to it and command it to turn the ac on...Thanks...

Assuming its full of freon, any A/C related codes stored will not allow engagement. Need to pull codes and erase any present.

What is not working? Blower,A/C compressor, Control head, Are ACM codes stored?

Codes have been cleared. In the past the ac would put out cold air intermittantly. Now it only works when the Modis is hooked up to it. Everything checks out to be ok with the ac.
