2000 Deville chokes after 2200rpm

Well here is my situation I recently purchased a 2000 Deville in exelent condition in and out but it felt sluggish and it had the check engine light on and the dash read check coolant and it smelled like it too I checked all vitals the only thing I saw was the oil was about 2 quarts low but the coolant and air filter were fine. I added the oil and put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner after filling the tank thinking the injectors maybe a bit clogged causing the sluggish feel.

I take it on the highway the next day and the car is smooth as silk 60-70mph so I decide to see what kind of pick-up the car has at those speeds so I floor the gas and it picks up to about 80 with a puff of white smoke before kinda stalling and then starting to reduce speed and when I hit the gas to correct it, it fludders and if something was restricting the exhaust or something? I then pull to the shoulder and hit the gas a few times but realize the car chokes after 2200 on the tach, I then try to drive off but the car then shuts off a few times once it gets to about 20mph. needless to say I had the car towed home.

Once home one of my buddys has an OBD2 scanner and plugs it in giving me these codes that we couldnt make heads or tails of:
p0385, p0386, p0420, p0741, p1860 if anyone is familiar with these events and codes please give me a starting point. thanks in advance!:D

Newer cars will bog if revved in park. Newer cars will shut off fuel or spark above 85 to 90 MPH. Cars should not quit at 20 MPH. Change the fuel filter and have a muffler shop verify that the cat. converter is not restricted. Knowing the meanings of codes is somewhat worthless unless you have the factory manual to diagnose them. Code meanings are listed in astickyon this site. This car does not require a code reader like other GM cars. All readings, monitoring and bringing up codes is done thru the on board diagnostics in the climate control head.

Remember, codes NEVER tell you what to replace!! they tell you what circuits to diagnose.

I must admit you guys have ur sh!t together here! I just got a call from the shop where I had the car looked at and they told me the cat was bad, I'm glad to know it's just that and I did buy a fuel filter yesterday and dropped it off today to have that replaced too. I really appriciate the help and input from all the members that posted in my thread and will keep everybody posted with the results thanks again ;)
