1993-96 fleet woods

I've been wanting a 93-96 fleetwood forever.i am now single and the dead weight I've gotten rid of I'm now allowed to get my big boat gas hog caddy. Lol. I've heard that 1 of the engines in those years has had a lot of issues.ive recently read that neither of the engines did it was the " North Star " engine. Can anyone help me with this and exactly what year is the longest. Loll bigger is better

Not sure about reliability, but the 1993-1996 Fleetwoods had the GM LT1 350CID engine. They liked to brag that it was the Chevrolet Corvette engine! On the interstates, the engines sipped gas around 25mpg.

Head gaskets, actually I've heard they had head gasket issues.that was the engine problem I had heard of. Was there only the LT-1 engine in those

1993 was a one year only 350 tbi along with some features. 1994-1996 LT1 with iron heads. Much more peppy than 1993. LT1 and the optic spark distributor has raised concerns because it is mounted to front of engine. The water pump mounts both in front and above it. When pump failed the leaking coolant could cause distributor to fail also. If your are looking for a Fleetwood I would look towards a 96. GM tends to build the best of a model at the end of the run.
