1970 deville won't start

I have a 1970 deville with the 472 big block in it. It has had some problems in the past starting once it gets warmed up. People say its the timing. I haven't started it for about 3 months and when I went to run some fuel stableizer through all the lines today it barely cranks over and seems to stop mid turn. Battery is charged starter is new, rotor, cap, plugs, wires and the h.e.i module were all brand new last year when I had this problem before. Now it just barely cranks and seems to have trouble just turning over. I need any help I can get here?

Starting

Could be a number of things. The 472 should be about 8 BTC so if you don't have a timing light, give the distributor a slight adjustment clockwise and see if that makes a difference.Could be too far advanced. The fuel pump could be week so check the carb. throat and flip the throttle to see if you get a good spray of gas.Check the filter at the carb while your at it.Pull a plug wire and make sure the spark is strong.Have you checked the temp. sensor??

I'll give the distributor a turns and see what happens I tried that briefly last night and got the same results. I just am hoping it's nothing major that is going to cost me a ton of money. Any other help would be great! Thanks a bunch
