dash board lighting problem

i have an 88 coupe de ville. i posted a problem with "no lights at dark" on the transmission window. i found it to be the headlight reostat corrosion. it would be an easy fix if you could reach the back side of the dash! it is easer to cary a flash light, "let the new owner" fix that too. vin

2011 doesn't use rheostats. Electronics.

the rheostats are at the high amp items. like headlights or horns. their switches are low amp..(pre computer electronics) 1988

air ride signal sender location.

for the 1988 caddy, it has an air compressor connected to the battery (by passing the ignition switch). it posts a signal to the dash "leveling" even when the car is parked. does it need a new sencing device? vin
